Privacy Policy
Last updated · June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information tickr (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the tickr website, the tickr Chrome extension, advertiser dashboard, and ad network (together, the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
- Account. When you sign in with Google through Better Auth, we store the basic account information needed to run your account, such as your user id, name, email address, profile image, session metadata, and linked Google account id. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Usage & ad metering. Impressions, clicks, the slot served, supported AI host domain, approximate timing, campaign and creative ids, and aggregate spend and earnings. The extension also reports operational diagnostics — when a supported AI response starts and finishes generating (timing only), unfilled ad requests, ad skips, and detector-health status — as numeric signals tied to your publisher account, never any page text.
- Device & extension. Extension version, browser, and limited technical data needed to serve and secure the Service. The extension stores your publisher API key locally in Chrome extension storage after the connect flow.
- We do not intentionally collect prompts, replies, conversation text, terminal contents, editor contents, or files. The browser extension detects UI state such as whether a supported AI response is generating; it does not send page text to tickr.
2. How We Use Information
To operate and secure the Service; run the ad auction and meter impressions and clicks; process deposits and payouts; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; and comply with the law.
3. Payment Data
Advertiser payments, publisher payouts, provider references, redemption links, and reconciliation metadata are stored so balances and disputes can be audited. Payment processors and payout providers may keep their own records under their policies.
4. How We Share
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- service providers (such as authentication, payment, payout, hosting, and analytics providers) under confidentiality obligations;
- advertisers and publishers in aggregate, non-identifying form (for example, impression counts); and
- authorities when required by law.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use the minimum cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to pass your publisher key to the Chrome extension during the connect flow. The extension then stores that key in Chrome extension storage. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and metering data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for safeguarding access to your Google account and your devices.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. International Transfers
We may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
